As we began filming a Hadeda, from the Ibis family, walked into the studio. The bird’s entrapment and inability to escape, seemed symbolic of the plight of miners underground. Highlighting contrasts of wild to manufactured, a “Paradox of Plenty” in an Aladdin’s cave.
